How We Sequence a Lighting Upgrade

From the first site survey to commissioning, our approach is built around measurable stages. We map existing infrastructure, define illumination targets for each zone, and agree on constraints before any hardware is ordered.

From Site Survey to Commissioning

We start with a walkthrough of your shipyard or warehouse floor, measuring mounting heights, existing electrical runs, and the actual work zones that need consistent illumination. This visit sets the baseline for everything that follows.

Using the survey data, we prepare a photometric layout that maps lumen output, beam angles, and spacing ratios across your facility. You get a clear document showing expected lux levels and uniformity before any hardware is ordered.

Once the layout is approved, we handle the engineering details: driver selection, thermal management for high-bay fixtures, and integration points for automated controls. This stage also covers the permit and safety documentation required for industrial sites.

Our installation crews work in phases so your operations continue without a full shutdown. We coordinate with your shift schedule, stage materials in designated zones, and keep the floor clear for forklift traffic and ongoing work.

After installation, we run a full commissioning pass: checking each circuit, verifying sensor response, and measuring actual light levels against the photometric plan. You receive a handover report with settings, maintenance intervals, and contact points for follow-up.

Every project follows this sequence, but the timeline shifts with facility size and the complexity of your control systems. For a closer look at what we can install, see our capabilities page or reach out through support.

Support channels and response times

How to reach the lighting team

Direct line / Phone

Call for urgent site issues

For a failed fixture on an active shift or a control system that stopped responding, call +60 19 350 6842. We pick up during working hours and route urgent cases straight to the engineer on call.

Email / Project queries

Write to info@lumieredesoso.com

Send layout files, photometric data, or a list of faulty units. We reply within one business day and keep the thread open until the issue is closed or the quote is sent.

Site visit / Survey

Book an on-site assessment

For retrofits and new builds, we walk the floor with you, measure mounting heights, check existing wiring, and confirm beam angles before we propose anything. Visits are scheduled within five working days.

SLA / Response

Standard response windows

Critical failures get a first response in under four hours. Non-urgent requests, such as spare part orders or documentation, are acknowledged the same day and resolved within three working days.

Spare parts / Stock

Replacement units and drivers

We keep common drivers, lenses, and mounting brackets for the fixtures we install. Tell us the model number from the label and we confirm availability before you send anything back.

FAQ / Self-service

Check the support page first

Installation notes, cleaning guidelines, and troubleshooting steps for flicker or dimming issues are listed on the support page. If the answer is not there, the contact form lands in the same inbox as the email address above.
